Sarah Palin, McCain's v.p.
Her name is Sarah Palin, and if a voice means much, she - the governor of Alaska - sounds less like a politician than anybody. There lies the threat posed by McCain's choice for vice president. If Democrats party treat Palin with disdain, watch out: she is the outsider than the US has yearned for.
Her views are her enemy. Pro-war, pro-business, she backs all the things conservatives love.
