I have agreed in principle to be interviewed for a European TV special. My decision is for this particular television production. It is not an easing of my general attitude, which is to decline all requests to speak for the record. Something about this particular project impresses me. It must be the production's connections in The Netherlands. Back in the dawn of civilization, I became a big fan of a Dutch TV series, Het Gat van Nederland, which unveiled a brilliant new style and form for reportage. That style and form have never been equalled. Taping for the special will be in January in various European cities.
